‘We Found Love’ … and a Baby

The announcement of Rihanna’s pregnancy has shocked her fans. After almost two years of dating rapper A$AP Rocky, the couple is expecting a baby soon. 

People Magazine broke the story, posting pictures of the happy pair including Rihanna debuting her baby bump. The photos sent social media into a frenzy as fans rushed to congratulate her.  

“I was gagged! I love Rihanna and her music, and her baby is going to be so cute,” said Elijah Ruiz, a Lynn senior. 

The “Needed Me” singer has since shared a series of photos on Instagram highlighting her bump with the caption, “How the gang pulled up to black history month.” The child’s gender and expected birth date are unknown. 

In the interview with People, A$AP Rocky said, “I think I’d be an incredible, remarkably overall amazing dad. I would have a very fly child. Very.”  

“I love her music. I’ve been a fan of hers since I heard ‘Umbrella.’ It’s so cute how she’s having a baby,” said Maija Dickens, a junior at Florida Atlantic University.
