Beginning the day with a cup of coffee is a morning ritual for many, but for college students with limited access to transportation, it is not always so simple. Fortunately for Lynn students, there are numerous nearby options, even for students who cannot leave campus.

One popular option is the Perper Coffee House, located on the first floor of the Christine E. Lynn Library. It is one of many on-campus coffee shops throughout the country that has a contract with Starbucks, allowing them to serve exclusive beverages such as Frappuccinos. This makes it an excellent spot for students looking to enjoy a snack or drink while doing homework.

“I enjoy going to the Perper Coffee House because it allows me to use my Lynn Bucks, which are a part of my meal plan,” said Shea-Lah Thomas, a sophomore. “It is within walking distance, and it’s less of a hassle than leaving campus to get a coffee, which can be more time-consuming.”

Starbucks off-campus locations are another popular option among students. Although they are more expensive than the average coffee shop, Starbucks makes up for this by offering a wide variety of beverages to attract consumers with varying tastes. Starbucks also offer a rewards program coffee connoisseurs.

“Starbucks provides Wi-Fi to use our technology and things to eat while getting things done,” said Grace Werle, a Lynn sophomore. “During the fall season, I like to order a pumpkin spice chai tea latte to enhance my fall experience.”

Carmela’s has become another go-to spot for coffeeholics, which is more than just a coffee shop. It is a place where locals visit to relax and bond over their cup of coffee. They also offer salads, toasts and sandwiches.

“Going to Carmela’s is very relaxing and having an enjoyable cup of coffee makes the experience more soothing,” said Sydney Pavlek, a sophomore. “It is a quiet atmosphere that allows me to focus and study.”

Overall, Boca Raton has many diverse and vibrant coffee shops to choose from. Craving a delicious cup of joe? Visit these locations recommended by students.
