“BOO-RITO” BOWLS
To celebrate Halloween with communities across the country, restaurant chain Chipotle Mexican Grill will offer $4 “Boorito” burritos, bowls, salads and tacos today only.
From 3 p.m. to close, Chipotle will cut prices for customers that visit in any costume. From extravagant suits of armor to a tiny cat ear headband, costumes of all shapes and sizes will qualify for the discount. Throughout that time frame, even meals that typically bring an additional cost will come out to just $3.
“I didn’t know that Chipotle [provided] discounted meals on Halloween when I happened to go last year,” said Gaby Rose, junior. “I was wearing cat ears. When I went to pay, the total came to $3; I was shocked.”
The chain rarely offers deep discounts; consequently, this is an attractive opportunity for college students.
Another special offer Chipotle brings to the community is its Halloween sweepstakes to win free burritos for a year. To enter, individuals simply must text “BOORITO” to 888222 by 11:59 p.m. this evening.
“Everything tastes better when it’s free or discounted,” said Melis Cifcilli, junior. “When Chipotle offers deals like this, my friends and I cannot help but visit our local location.”
Over the years, Halloween incentives from various restaurant chains have become popular. Chipotle thinks it’s a “boo-tiful” thing.
