Throughout her time at Lynn, Kynda Green has exemplified the how students can explore and amplify their creative voice outside the confines of a traditional major. While navigating the intersections of her academic pursuits, Green utilized extracurricular activities to delve into uncharted territories, proving that creativity knows no disciplinary boundaries.
As a Communications and Media student, Green’s academic trajectory has been significantly enriched by forays into the world of film. Green’s artistic endeavors have not only been a passion for her, but have also opened doors to immersive experiences, such as her involvement in the Cannes Film Festival study abroad trip and her current role with the TV production of iPulse Live.
“My experience at Lynn has been a vital contributor in navigating my career interests,” said Green. “Communications and Media is a multifaceted field, encapsulating a number of creative outlets.”
The allure of the film’s artistry became apparent to Green, inspiring her to delve into visual storytelling, a facet she seamlessly integrated into her role as a writer and poet. Lynn’s extracurricular programs, including the Cannes Film Festival study abroad trip and iPulse Live, became catalysts for Green’s hands on exploration of her newfound passion. “Lynn has done a great job giving so many people, including me, different places to use our creativity outlet in as many ways as possible,” said Liz Clagett, a sophomore studying advertising and public relations.

“My time at Lynn not only brought new academic insight to my attention but presented me with the tools to pave a path towards success,” said Green.
