Boomers vs XBK Zone: Your Pick

Boomers and X-treme Bowling and Karting (XBK) Zone, located in Boca Raton and Ft. Lauderdale respectively, are entertainment centers suitable for family friendly fun any day of the week.
Boomers and XBK Zone are both game centers jam-packed with fun indoor and outdoor activities.
XBK Zone offers go-karting, bowling, laser tag, a game arcade and an upcoming Hershey’s Ice Cream Shake Shoppe for hungry customers.
In addition to all of XBK Zone’s amenities, Boomer’s also offers a custom game room, batting cages, miniature golf, bumper boats, kiddie roller coasters, a rock wall and musical entertainment every Friday evening.
“I prefer coming to X-treme,” said Carlota Kauffmann, senior. “The go-karting experience is much better than Boomers.”
Aside from the preferred go-karts, XBK also offers Super Race Sundays to its Super Members; in which members can participate in a 50-lap race. With a $50 entrance fee, competitors are eligible for prizes provided by Palm Beach Kart Center and Selfmade Motorsports.
What Boomers lacks in go-karts it makes up for in its selection of arcade games and diverse activities.
“I do go-kart in XBK,” said William Pacanis, sophomore. “But I prefer Boomers for the game arcade.”
Boomers provides just enough activities for an individual to be distracted all day. Boomers even includes a children’s play park, featuring youth rollercoasters.
Where XBK Zone falls short in the gaming department, however, it more than makes up for it in the quality of their bowling alleys and karting tracks. The space is larger and of superior standard.
For some individuals, Boomers and XBK Zone are an even match. Given the fact that both venues offer similar amenities, some do not have a preference.
“I like both,” said Rodrigo Kozma, sophomore. “I could go to either one of them.”
Boomers is located closer to Lynn at 3100 Airport Road, Boca Raton; while XBK Zone is located more south at 5300 Powerline Road, Ft. Lauderdale.
“I like the convenience of Boomers,” said Maria Cabral, senior. “I’d rather drive to a place here in Boca than going down to Fort Lauderdale and coming back up.”
At the end of the day, both Boomers and XBK Zone offer customers an enjoyable experience suitable for the whole family. Either is recommended for a day full of fun.
