A Look At The Everyday Life Of The Brothers Of Alpha Phi Delta

Alpha Phi Delta, (APD), recently held a BBQ in hopes of gaining new members. The event was the most recent in a string of public events APD has held on campus.

This semester APD has hosted a Root Beer Float Social, a Karaoke event co-sponsored with Theta Phi Alpha, along with the BBQ. Alpha Phi Delta has been a part of Greek Life since it the Breast Cancer Walk in Mizner Park and bagged non-perishable groceries for retired senior citizens at the community center.

“We love doing community service. I personally love helping with Habitat for Humanity because I have always loved what they do for others,” said Vice President of Alpha Phi Delta, Andrew Salvadore, freshman.

Also coming up is Greek Week, an annual event held on campus consisting of many different greek events, APD is looking to defend their title of champion for the third year in a row and with a trophy on the line, the stakes are even higher this year.

“APD are a fun welcoming group of guys,” said Marley Deutchman, senior. For those interested in joining a fraternity, Alpha Phi Delta brothers are always looking for new members to join them, so come out to one of their recruitment events in the fall to see everything this group has to offer. was founded in 2002 along with ZBT. Currently APD has 12 members and plans to welcome five new members later this semester.

“Ever since I joined Alpha Phi Delta I’ve made amazing connections and met people that I wouldn’t have otherwise,” said the President of Alpha Phi Delta, Matthew Sibilio, sophomore. APD also loves to give back by hosting community service events. The brothers of APD have attended canned food drives,the Breast Cancer Walk in Mizner Park and bagged non-perishable groceries for retired senior citizens at the community center.
