With two surprise stars from MTV’s Guy Code and Girl Code presenting for the First Forty Finale in the Elmore Dining Commons tomorrow at 7 p.m..

The event is to mark the conclusion of 40 days that have been dedicated to getting first year students acclimated to the lifestyle at Lynn. For the first 40 days of theses college students’ careers, there has been a variety of activities and fun events to partake in.

“There’s been all types of events [such as] laser tag, bumper cars, commuter lunches, big game night [and] the street festival,” said Briana Randall, sophomore.

During the First Forty, students are given the opportunity to interact with one another and have fun with their fellow Fighting Knights.

The Student Activities Board (SAB) and Student Involvement (SI) are excited to host the upcoming event. The First Forty Finale is open to all students. It is free by simply showing their student I.D..

“SAB has put in a lot of work to prepare for this event,” said Laurie Adamson, coordinator of student involvement. “It’s one of our biggest events this fall, so it’s definitely something students should not miss.”

Going out with a hit, SAB and SI have made sure that the finale will be the most exciting events of them all.

“We’re bringing two surprise hosts from Guy Code and Girl Code,” said Randall. “We’re hoping to have a lot of students out there to support the event and really come out to enjoy themselves.”

The event is not only restricted to first year students. All are welcome to join. With a capacity of only 250 available, all are encouraged to come early to the Dining Commons to secure their spot.

For further details on future Lynn events, one can download the Lynn Events App located in the App Store. Also, follow SAB on their Instagram page, @SAB_LynnU.

To score an opportunity to meet MTV stars, make sure to stop by the First Forty Finale. Hurry over to the Dining Commons and have fun with fellow students.
