Lynn University offers an accelerated program to students to help them achieve a bachelor’s degree in three years instead of four and graduate in less time.

Many students at Lynn have decided to take advantage of this opportunity. Doing so helps them get graduate faster and also enter the job market sooner. Faculty love this addition to the curriculum and encourage more students to take advantage of it.

“What’s most beneficial is that students stay for three years, but they stay another year to get their master’s; that’s the best benefit,” said Karima Lafranco, assistant professor of hospitality and event management at Lynn University.

Having an opportunity to speed through school can greatly benefit students’ futures. It can save them significant amounts of money and add introduce skills like time management and leadership.

“It’s so important that people know about it. It’s sometimes too late,” said Lafranco. “Some students applied to Lynn just to be included in the three-year program.”

Prior to enrolling, students must meet several prerequisites. These include maintaining a GPA of 3.0 or above, avoiding any grades below a D and completing at least 18 credits per semester by the end of the first year.

“It’s like a reward for high achievement,” said Lafranco. “You get everything done sooner due to your hard work.”

For aspiring and hard-working students, this program could be a great opportunity and can result in life-changing experiences. The three-year program rewards commitment and academic integrity, and it offers many benefits that could aid in a student’s future success.
