Adriana Veizaga, a Lynn junior studying advertising, and public relations, is a full-time content creator while studying and working two on-campus jobs.

Veizaga grew up in Bolivia and moved to the U.S. specifically to study at Lynn. This move was a substantial change for Veizaga, so she began documenting her journey on TikTok, quickly obtaining a large following.

Veizaga began posting on TikTok in August 2020. She had recently acquired the Presidential Scholarship from Lynn University. She was preparing for a significant change in her life and decided to document the process. Since then, Veizaga has amassed over 700,000 followers on TikTok and has become a content creator, which has become a full-time job for her.

“Through my content, I wanted to help guide people around my age to accomplish their goals,” said Veizaga. “I had no guidance when making my transition to the United States, so I thought that if I shared my tips, someone could maybe benefit.”

Veizaga’s content focuses on giving educational advice like bettering your chances of receiving a scholarship, life advice like mental health tips and emotional support.

“My main focus is on documenting my transition to the U.S. and what I did to achieve a full scholarship to Lynn. I make many videos on study tips and how to stay focused,” said Veizaga. “But I also like to create videos based on things that we go through as young adults such as breakups, dealing with mental health, etc.”

Although content creation is a large part of her life, Veizaga works two on-campus jobs and is a full-time student. She must follow an organized, detailed schedule to complete her daily tasks. Veizaga scripts her TikToks, records them and edits them individually, so she must dedicate an hour a day to creating this content.

“In order to manage working two jobs, studying, going to the gym and creating videos, I must follow a detailed schedule or else it can be easy to get off track. It is a lot of work, but content creation is also my hobby,” said Veizaga.

Veizaga aims to continue to grow her platform and generate conversation. She is thankful to Lynn for the opportunities and resources the institution provided her with. Being a content creator is a full-time job, but with the right organization skills and a clear goal, it is achievable.
