As the statistics show, the men’s team has been 50/50 in the win column. Their record right now is 5-5 in wins, but their conference record 1-3 being a very poor start to the season. Yet, the season is still early, and they have games on their schedule to get back on track winning games. As for the women’s team, they were off to a great to start with their conference record of 5-1.

It is only through January this year the women’s team were on a roll. Jan. 17 and Feb. 14. During those weeks of their games, the women’s team was ranked third in wins in their conference. There are still many games left to be played. So far, it’s seems like the women’s team can make a push for the post-season for Lynn this year.

“So far, we have had a decent season, not the best or worst but we have time to get better and play better,” said Massimo Schmid, a Lynn tennis player for the men’s team.

There is still time for the men’s team to improve due to them only having five games left in the season. This is still enough time to win games and make a push for the tournament this season.

On the other hand, the key for the women’s team success this season have been their doubles and singles match. The majority of the wins come from the singles matches from their record of 5-3. Currently in doubles matches they are 2-6 and in double teams they are 3-4. That is an above average record to have.

“So far, we’ve only lost two games, but we’re a pretty solid team and feel like we can do something this year,” said Maja Stajszczak, a Lynn tennis player for the women’s team.

There are still more games left to be played in the season for the women’s team. As of right now, the team looks good and is ready to compete as the season goes along!
