LYNN ALUMNA DOES IT ALL

Stephanie Woloshin has accepted the opportunity of a lifetime as a production assistant with Fox News after graduating in just two years with a 4.0 GPA in May.

Woloshin, a former communication and emerging media major, made the most out of her two years as an undergraduate at Lynn. She was the founder and president of Students Supporting Israel, vice president of Hillel and one of the first graduates of the Lynn Leadership Institute. Off campus, Woloshin kept equally busy by working as a Hebrew school teacher at B’nai Israel Synagogue while also holding multiple prestigious internships.

Some of her notable internships as a Lynn student included serving as the social media director for the Scott Singer, Boca Raton’s mayor Scott Singer and the only intern for Robin Bernstein, the U.S. Ambassador to the Dominican Republic.

Because of her passion for politics and making a positive impact on society, Woloshin wanted a career that would allow her to share her enthusiasm and educate others.

“My goal was to pursue a career in television in order to maximize my social impact,” she said.

Prior to her job at Fox News, Woloshin worked as a producer at WPTV-TV News Channel 5 in West Palm Beach. In addition, she served as the associate producer and production assistant at BrandStar, a South Florida company that creates shows for the Lifetime network.

Woloshin credits Lynn’s student-oriented staff for her passion to make a positive impact on society.

“Regardless of the course subject or class size, professors at Lynn made us think about how we can make a positive difference in the world,” she said.

Woloshin’s new job at Fox News is a continuation of what she loves to do, launching herself into a career in television and journalism. Without a doubt, the Lynn community is eager to watch her professional growth.
