Recently, Brazilian jewelry chain Vianna Brasil celebrated a complete year of business in Boca.

Vianna Brasil, owned by husband and wife Ricardo and Luciana Vianna, actually opened their Boca store located at 300 Esplanade, Suite 51 in Royal Palm Place in late 2014.

“We want to grow our business and our family here in Boca Raton,” said Mr. Vianna.

The jewelers are part of the Vianna family of Brazil, who got their start decades ago in the South American country making fine jewelry crafted with colored gemstones such as amethyst, aquamarine and citrine.

Four generations later, the family decided to expand from their native Brazil to Boca with their first stand-alone location in the US. The Boca store’s inventory includes necklaces, earrings, bracelets and rings.

The vast majority of the accessories feature both cut as well as uncut colored gemstones.

“I want to give a special thanks to all of your staff during the renovation of the store. They were very, very kind, always available — really professional.

I gave them a hard time, called them every day,” Ricardo Vianna laughed. “But in the end they were very, very helpful.”
