All students are welcome Nov. 3 from 1 to 4 p.m. for some healthy fun at the ninth Wellness Fair, located at the International Business Center (IBC) patio and lawn.
This free event is proudly hosted by the Lynn Health Center.

“We’re promoting wellness,” said Rita Albert, director of health services. “We try to bring in people from the community that can offer goods and services that we don’t normally get around here.”

There will be nutritionists, fitness clubs and a chiropractor to make for a great experience. Free food samples will also be available. There will be a number of stations that students can explore and become familiar with.

Being healthy is an important part of life. Students are becoming more aware, and looking for intriguing options to stay fit. With the recent addition of a farm-fresh dining station in the Elmore Dining Commons, Lynn students are developing healthier lifestyles.

This is a perfect opportunity for students to get more involved with their health while enjoying themselves.

“This year should be fun,” said Albert. “I brought in a rock wall to get the exercise part of it.”

Climbing the rock wall will be a fun, healthy activity that will get juices flowing!

Incorporating exercise into one’s routine has many positive benefits. Exercise helps cope with stress, boosts brainpower, energy and the immune system, and can overall improve one’s mood.

With Halloween just wrapping up, the Wellness Fair will be a nice way to learn and interact with fitness and health professionals. They are coming specifically for the Fighting Knights, so take advantage of this great opportunity.

This terrific event is a highlight of the exciting and meaningful events that Lynn and the Health Center have to offer.
Come partake in the ninth Wellness Fair at the IBC lawn on Nov. 3, beginning at 1 p.m.
