For those finding themselves bored with visiting the same spots in Boca Raton, Pineapple Grove Arts District in Downtown Delray is a great new place to explore a street full of arts and entertainment.

Downtown Delray is typically known for its beach, amazing restaurants and hotspot Atlantic Avenue. However, most people do not know that there is an entire street dedicated to art.

The Pineapple Grove Arts District is a street full of incredible venues, including restaurants, cafes, boutiques, galleries, wine bars and spas. It has recently become a go-to destination, as the quality, variety and artistic features has been improved.

“I did not know about this place before,” said Carlota Kauffmann, senior. “It was not until this summer that I came across it.”

Many students assume they need to travel to Miami in order to indulge themselves in high quality art and entertainment, but they are misinformed. The conveniently placed Pineapple Grove Arts District is home to incredible restaurants and stunning art galleries. Pineapple Grove is also completely family friendly, with The Puppetry Arts Center located just off Atlantic Avenue.

“I have bought most of my art pieces from there,” said Maria Cabral, senior. “My apartment looks like a gallery and it is half decorated from there.”

The entire street is full of artwork, and gives visitors a sufficient variety of venues to explore. Whether one wishes to dine in, go shopping, spend a day at the spa or even provide a romantic evening.

“I took a girl on a date there last week,” said Emilio Kafati, junior. “We both had a great time and she already wants to go back.”

For those interested in checking out a new, exciting adventure, Pineapple Grove Arts District is located just off Atlantic Avenue on NE 2nd Avenue and NE 4th Avenue. Aside from a select few appointment-only galleries, it is open to the public every day of the week.
