Once someone steps into Nino’s Italian Restaurant, the aroma of roasted garlic and fresh pizza immediately greets his or her nose.

Located on the northwest corner of Palmetto and Powerline, Nino’s is known for many of their classic Italian dishes. It is the perfect place for dinner with the family, a special date or lunch with a friend.

The relaxed ambiance and excellent staff of the restaurant are sure to make guests feel like they are right at home.

“My mission is to make guests go ‘wow,’” said Lisa Cochrane, senior server at Nino’s. “We strive to make them friends, not customers.”

Cochrane is not the only person working there who takes pride in the restaurant. With being the head chef for the past 28 years, Esse Dortelus has dedicated a large part of his life into assuring the satisfaction and pleasure of the restaurant’s guests.

“We have guests that travel miles for the Trippa ala Romano,” said David Shearer, manager of Nino’s. “A dish straight from Rome which includes cow stomach, sautéed onions, potatoes and green peas in a red sauce. Unquestionably, one of the most flavorful things on our menu.”

But that is not the only thing one will want to try when visiting Nino’s. They have also been voted the best pizza in Boca three years in a row by The Readers of the Boca and West Boca Forum.

“Nino’s is the best Italian food around,” said Madeline Fryburg, senior. “The portions are huge and the price is right.”

Dine in, pick it up, have it delivered or order catering for an event. Nino’s does it all.
