Apps are used by many users and can make life easier in many circumstances, including a way of guidance for fitness and nutrition.
Fitness and nutrition apps have been increasingly popular over the years. They can help anyone from beginner to novice reach their goals.
Erica Brigati is a registered dietitian who finds apps extremely useful.
“Using fitness apps can help make fitness and nutrition fun,” said Brigati. “Since we’re all constantly tethered to our smartphones, apps give us instant access to fitness and nutrition info.”
MyFitnessPal is a very popular app that is helpful in assisting with one’s goals. The app will monitor whatever one’s goal is, whether it be fat loss, muscle gain or just maintaining a goal weight. It calculates the person’s macronutrients and counts the amount of calories one takes in. It also consists of a very large search for any type of food, already equipped with nutrition facts.
Brigati would agree that MyFitnessPal is one of the best apps for nutrition.
“MyFitnessPal allows me to follow a more flexible meal plan while still ensuring I hit my macronutrient and micronutrient goals,” said Brigati. “I can also integrate it with my Fit Bit to track calories in and out.”
Another great app for nutrition is Restaurant Nutrition, which includes all restaurants and nutrition facts for their meals. This will help one stay on track, but still be able to go out to eat.
There are also plenty of workout apps such as Workout Trainer and Body Space that include exercise routines and ideas that keep anyone’s workouts interesting and different.
A current popular way to work out is Crossfit, and there are even apps to better your Crossfit experience.
“My favorite app for fitness is Wodify,” said Harry Rosen, senior. “It helps me to better understand my daily Crossfit workout and accomplish my tasks, all while allowing me to compete against other local Crossfitters.”
Fitness and nutrition apps can help any individual learn, stay on track and have fun at the same time.
