On Wednesday, February 23 in Downtown Delray Beach opening night of “Living in Paradise” Fashion Show took place showcasing all of the hottest new spring and summer wear.

Over 70 models both men and women of all ages striking their best poses down the runway they truly wowed the crowd with showcasing all new spring and summer clothing lines from local businesses. Not only was the fashion impeccable but the confidence these models had made the outfits look even better. Their smiles and energy made the whole experience a night to remember. With over 30 retailers highlighting the best their stores have to offer, there truly was something there for everyone.

“Wearing things that help make you feel beautiful is the best feeling anyone can have,” said Amanda Perna owner and designer of House of Perna.

This internationally known event doesn’t just stop at fashion, from local food vendors to trunk shows and more, this event sets itself apart from others by coming together as a community to support not only these local businesses but by donating all proceeds from the event to help children and their families get the support and right education with the help of the Achievement Centers for children and their families.

“Seeing how the community came together for such an amazing event and how welcomed everyone made us feel is something I will remember for a lifetime, and I cannot wait to attend another special event,” said Mackenzie Korman sophomore at Lynn University.

Along with locals many CEOs writers of major magazines and top sponsors were in attendance. Those who had VIP media access received glamourous gift bag along with being seated near the front of the show.

“Couture is part of our culture in Downtown Delray, and this is never more true than during fashion week, when the city comes alive with style,” said Sarah Flynn from Willcarro Communications LLC.

With new trends constantly evolving, style is a way of saying who you are without having to speak “we all have our own unique sense of style. It’s a reflection of our personality,” said Jennifer Lopez.
