Founders Day in a Flash
By Taryn Super, Editor-in-Chief
This year’s Founders Day was a blast with students able to participate in fun activities with their friends and classmates throughout the day.
Founders Day returned better than ever with Lynn students enjoying the celebration for the first time since the pandemic began. The day was filled with fun events.
In the morning, members of the Lynn community competed against each other in the Big Wheel Race. In the evening, students enjoyed delicious cuisine from multiple food trucks offering pulled pork sandwiches, tacos and Asian food. After dinner, students were offered desserts like popsicles, snow cones, fried Oreos, funnel cake and cotton candy.
“The food was my favorite part….I really enjoyed the fried Oreo,” said Cameron Matejka, a freshman.
Along with great cuisine, students enjoyed carnival rides, carnival games and balloon animals. The night was a perfect celebration of Lynn University’s founding and a great opportunity to spend time with members of the Lynn community.
