The bond between teammates tends to be very strong since teammates spend hours together during practices and in their spare time.

So, teammates become like family working together to improve as a team. The ongoing support an athlete receives from their teammates is extremely helpful to their improvement because that support pushes one to stay motivated during practice and completion.

Often teammates admire the hard work ethic their teammates have and want to compliment them for their efforts. Lynn athletes from different teams were excited to give a shout-out to teammates who they believe perform well this year, and who embody the spirit of what it means to be a great teammate.

Below: “I want to give a shout-out to one of my captains, Molly Bryans. As a captain, she is a good example of a soccer player and person. She is very supportive on and off the field. She always gives her hardest during every practice and game. She is someone all of us can go to to talk about anything,” said Bridget Riley, women’s soccer player.

Below: “I want to give a shout-out to Philip Henderson. I know he was wicked disappointed with last year’s cross country season and he really put in the extra hard work this entire season to put himself in a great position on the team. He is also a great teammate,” said Bryan Ryder.

Below: “I give a shout-out to Dalton Brown because I think he is doing great at practice this year and it will translate to the meet. He’s the best sprinter on the team,” said Cam Dunne, men’s swimmer.

Below: “I want to give a shout-out to Olivia Lovins because every day she comes to practice as a leader and works hard. She stays later to get even more work in and is never afraid to compliment other players,” said Erin Sporn, softball player.

Below: “I would like to give a shout-out to Morgan Browne because of her hard work and determination on the court. She always puts a smile on everyone’s face,” said Nadia Lindner, women’s volleyball player.

Below: “I want to give a shout-out to Blair Vignes because she is really good at keeping the team motivated during workouts and always encouraging everyone to stick together during workouts,” said Kylee Baird, women’s cross country.
